we have been learning about possum traping.

This week we have been learning about Umu and Hangi. An umu is the Samoan way of cooking food in the ground.We were lucky to have Mr Metzger do an umu at the school for us all to watch and try. One of our literacy tasks was to create a flowchart about how to make an umu. Have you had an umu before? What do you think?

in the bag i feel something fluffy and realy smoth with a long stick pease it might be a littel bit curly with a slippery feathery  at the end and i thingk it was made in china and i thight it fealt bendy and hairey chunch spickey and sqishey mushey and raely realy soft and realy silkey with 3 tooes  and i think it is a chicken

the scuttling noise had disturbed michael and he'd shot bolt upright in bed after taking a deep  breath he flung himself on to the smooth wooden boards of his bedroom floor and took a peek but nuthing was there so he looked be hind him and seen his teadybire moving its head then he looked under the bed agen and falet some thingtouching him he got so sceered he ran out of his room and said mum but he reamed that mum and dad went to do shoping at pakinsave then he sore slapey and chuckey they pulled him acrose the room and choked him then he was never seen agan inless they killslapy and chukey hel come back
