How to make an Umu

This week we have been learning about Umu and Hangi. An umu is the Samoan way of cooking food in the ground.We were lucky to have Mr Metzger do an umu at the school for us all to watch and try. One of our literacy tasks was to create a flowchart about how to make an umu. Have you had an umu before? What do you think?
